Abstract Photos
Through The Lights

In this photo, an element of art I used was shape. The way I used double exposure of two photos of the same object to create one. The main area is the lightbulb, and the outer ring was an exposure of the middle of the light. A principle of design I used was in a way, movement. I picked movement because this object looks like it was shaking, creating a sense that this was taken while moving an object. Lastly, a rule of photography incorporated in this photo is fill the frame. The blur and the actual object takes up majority of the room in this. With just the dark background, the attention leads more towards the middle.
Aura Where No One Sees

This photo wasn't taken in focus, bringing more interest the viewers. Because of this, I can say an element of art used was value. This photo has value because of the way there is something bright in the middle of the photo, and all the different shades of darker colours in the back. A principle of design used was also balance. Because of the main subject in the middle of the frame, is seems more balanced like the photo is complete because there are no other distractions involved. Lastly, a rule of photography was symmetry.
Eyes Always Watching

A principle of design used in this photo was value. The way you can see the shadows on the face, and on the left side of the frame, you can see the range of dark to light. A principle of design used was also movement. When taking this photo, I had to move the camera so that it captured the blur of the subject. Lastly, a rule of photography I used was rule of thirds because the main subject is to the right of the frame, rather than directly in the middle.
Shadow In The Sky

An element of art I incorporated in this photo was shape. I used double exposure on this photo as well, so that you can see both of the tree tops through one another. A principle of design used was balance, because the subject is in the middle of the frame, with once again, no distracting backgrounds. A rule of photography used was symmetry.
Can You See Yourself?

An element of art used in this photo was colour. I loved the bright blue and the dark background. A principle of design I used was balance because of the way the reflection looks like a copy and paste between the two sides of the frame. The only difference is that one side is a little more blurry as if it's just a washed out version of the original subject. Lastly, a rule of photography I have used is symmetry because of the way the both look the same with only very few differences.
