Poker Face

This photo uses pattern and repetition, repeating the cards behind the main playing cards in focus making it look like a continuation. I would also say that this photo uses shape to bring interest when the cards are all rectangular on the plain table. Lastly, this photo includes simplified scene, when the background is plain and the subject is the only thing your eye is focused on.
Spilling Truths

Emphasis is included in the photo, because the dark background brings your attention to the bright tea cups. Another aspect of this photo is contrast, due to the wrinkled texture of the bottom of the frame, to the smooth texture of the cups. Lastly, I used simplify the scene because of the plain background.
Odd One Out

This photo uses balance, being the only bright leaf in the middle of the frame. While also using unity, because everything in the frame feels complete and equal on both sides. Lastly, this photo includes leading lines when the table corners meet toward the middle of the frame by the subject.
Avoiding Light

In this photo I used emphasis when the bright hand attracts the viewers attention, popping compared to the dark background. I would also say there is a sense of pattern in this photo when the shadows of the fingers reflect off her face. Lastly, I simplified the scene when I made the background as plain as could be making the photo easier to look at.
That Time of Year

In this photo, I incorporated lines leading the eye up the tree at to the branches off to the side. There is also texture on the bark of the tree, the black and white really bringing out the details. Lastly, I found diagonals in this photo when the branches come across the frame in a diagonal matter.
