Shape/movement and rhythm
Dice Toss

Movement in photography is used to make it look like a product is frozen in time. Photographers do this with their photos to bring interest to the image taken. I used movement by making these dice look like they are in the air being tossed around. Movement and rhythm can also be used by having someone run, jump, a lot of photographers capture these movements by sport photography.
Texture/contrast
Eye Through the Future

Texture brings out the small details in a photo, either by small things like freckles on a person, fur on an animal or even lashes like this photo. Textured photos are often close up to capture these small aspects of the subject. I have used texture as my main focus in this image by getting up close to the face and bring out the small details in and around the eye.
texture/pattern and repetition
Felling Alive

Pattern and repetition can be used in a bunch of different ways. Some include, fencing, walls, floor, basically anything where you can see a repetition of colours or design. In the photo here, this branch is repeating itself with the way the green branches are sticking out on both sides the more you look up the twig.
lines/pattern
The Odd One Out

Lines are used a lot in photos. They are often used because it brings interest to the photo as well as it leads the viewers to a certain point in the image. Leading lines helps a photo come together as a whole. I used lines in this photo by the subject having these deep lines leading upwards towards the top of the product.
value/emphasis
A Flowers Sunshine

Value is used in photography when the photographer wants to showcase the darkness to lightness of the photo. The photo can either be black and white, showcasing the dark and light shadows, or the photo being full of colour. This photo has a dark background with the main colour focus the bright flower.
colour/balance
A Calming Force

Colour can be very important in photos. Colour can be used in so many different ways than just one. Like opposite colours, colour pop, different shades of the colour and more. In this photo specifically though, I used the same colour. Having the subject a white cream colour and the background being the same, this makes the photo that much more unique.
