Shutter Speeds

This display of the different shutter speeds shows the difference of the movement showcased. A principle of design I used was balance because of the way these photos are arranged and the umbrella being in the middle in each singular photo. An element of art also used was lines, based off the way the lines on the umbrella leads into the middle even when it captures the movement of the spin. Lastly, a rule of photography used was patterns because of the design on the umbrella made it have an interesting effect in the photos.

Christmas Fever

This motion blur has an element of art of colour. The way I used the multi-colour string lights to bring more interest to the photo only added to the way the different colours combine. A principle of design I used was pattern and repetition because of the way the singular bulbs of the lights can be shown when they were moving. I makes it look like they are all following each other in perfect lines. This can the be brought to using leading lines in a rule of photography used. The lines look like they re leading off the image.

Feeling Through The Wall

An element of art I included in this photo was texture. The way you can see the tiny strings at the bottom of the frame shows how it might feel. A principle of design I used was movement because of the way you can see the hand swishing through the object. Lastly, a rule of photography I have used for this photo is fill the frame because of the object taking up the frame that you cannot really see the background.

Hair Flows

A element of art used in this photo is value because of the bright light on one side of the photo and slowly gets darker to the right side of the frame. A principle of design I used was unity. The subject is in the middle of the frame, and the photo looks complete. Lastly, a rule of photography I included was leading lines with how the hair flows towards the main subject.

Sparks Fly

A element of art I have included in this photo is colour. Even though this photo was not taken in black and white, it still looks like the sparkler is the only colour pop in tis photo. A principle of design I used was emphases because of the way the sparkler is the only bright light in this. Lastly, a rule of photography used was rule of thirds how the subject is not in the middle of the frame and off center.

A Race Through Time

An element of art included in this photo is colour. I used all warm colours for this photo to bring more interest to it. A principle of design I used is movement because of the way the toy car is moving and the background is blurred making it look like it's going really fast. A rule of photography I also included is fill the frame because of the way the car is in reality very small, but in this photo it's made to look normal sized.

Throw Through The Air

An element of art I included is balance because of the way the background is not distracting so the photo can be the focus. The image looks equal this way. A principle of design I used was movement once again because the shoe was thrown in the air. It caught the shot to look like the shoe has a little bit of a blur to make it look like it was moving as well. Lastly, a rule of photography was rule of thirds because the main focus is not entirely in the middle.
