Triptychs
Autumn Feels
The idea behind this photo was to separate 3 sections of her body, to create a weird and fun way to display this photo, in a sense that the frame of the body is still there just portioned off.
I think I successfully created a triptych because of the way I created and displayed this photo.
I used space, creating a lot of positive space the subject takes up in each frame/split part of the photo.
All the sections have a sense of balance, having all subjects in the direct middle of the photo.
Fill the frame was my biggest rule of photography I used because of how much I zoomed in on each subject.
Natures Moments
The idea behind these photos was to take photos of different areas of nature, and when put together it would seem similar but also in a way, different.
I think I could in a way make this photo better, but overall I think I succeeded because of the different areas and angles I took this photo and all the colours made it much better.
The element of art used was texture, because of how close I got to the subject, showcasing all of the small details of the branches and leaves.
A principle of design I used was contrast, because of the difference between the smooth sky in the background and blurred trees, compared to the rougher subjects like bark and prickles.
One rules of photography used was leading lines in the bottom right photo leading up the branch to the trees, where it then gets blurred.
Greenhouse of the Imagination
The idea behind this triptych was to take just one subject and create 3 different photos to make it look different, whether that means different angles, or areas of the building. This was one of my favorited because it is the same subject, just making it look different, so I think this was successfully made because of the way it feels like its apart of just one big photo. I love the way it almost looks abandoned based on the colouring I used. One of the elements of art I used was value, because of the natural light of the sun around the trees shinning onto the building especially when it has a polyester roof. I also used lines in a way that the texture and waves of the walls have leading lines themselves. Some principles of design I used was unity, because all parts of the photo equals a whole image and looks complete from the view. Another one I used was emphasis because I have light areas of the photo and dark. shadows. One rule of photography I used was diagonals, because of the different angles I used to showcase the waves of the subject.
